Tusla Meitheal West Wicklow and CFSN

Meitheal is the National Practice Model for all agencies working with children, young people and their families. Tusla developed the Meitheal approach to help children where they may need the support of more than one service. Meitheal is a case co-ordination process for families with additional needs who require multi-agency intervention but who do not meet the threshold for referral to the Social Work Department under Children First.

The West Wicklow Child and Family Support Network comprises all services (Statutory, Community and Voluntary) that play a role in the lives of children, young people and families in the West Wicklow area using an interagency collaborative approach.
